Melbourne: Matthew Wade is most likely to make his test debut against West Indies as the permanent wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will not return to the West Indies due to family reasons. Wade had earlier replaced Haddin in the ODI squad.
Haddin flew back from the Caribbean last week due to personal reasons, meaning his replacement Peter Nevill will stay back for the Test series next month.
"Cricket Australia fully supports Brad's decision to remain in Australia and sends its best wishes to him and his family at this time," said Cricket Australia's general manager team performance Pat Howard.
The ODI-series between the West Indies and Australia is nicely poised at 1-1 after a dramatic tie in the third match Tuesday. (IANS)
