South Africa will bid to shrug off their 'chokers' tag

South Africa will bid to shrug off their 'chokers' tagSouth Africa has been the biggest chokers of the game when it comes to ICC Cricket World Cup or T20 World Cup. They arguably have the best team and always start any tournament they feature in as strong contenders, but then in the end they somehow lose steam.

Just like always they will start as one of the forces to reckon to in the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka and theoretically speaking they have the best team to go around in the tournament. The Proteas are the number one ranked team in this format of the game and they truly deserve the tag.

Their results in the past few months have been good and they have a unit which can decimate any side when in full element.

Most of the players who feature in the squad have the experience of playing in the IPL and the conditions in Sri Lanka would somewhat be the same.

South Africa will be lead by AB De Villiers and he will also be spearheading their batting as well. He is one of the best batsmen in this format and can deliver in any situations. Hashim Amla is one more batsmen who will hold the key for them in tournament. And when it comes to sheer hitting the responsibility will be shared Albie Morkel and Richard Levi. Levi is likely to open the innings with Amla and he can destroy any bowling attack.

The best part about their team is their bowling attack and they have some of the best bowlers of the world. Most of the team would depend on the batsmen in this format of the game but then South Africa is one team which will rely on bowlers. Their bowling combination of Morne Morkel, Dale Steyn and Lonwabe Tsotsobe can destroy any batting attack.
