Mumbai: Dr. D.Y. Patil Sports Club defeated Jain Irrigation Sports Club by 67 runs in the final of the K.C. Mahindra Memorial Shield Invitation Cricket Tournament.

D.Y. Patil Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat first.  They posted a total of 196 runs. In reply, Jain Irrigation Sports Club only managed 129 runs and was bowled out well short of their target.
