Adelaide: Australia defeated India by 298 runs in the final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide. Chasing Australia’s target of 500 runs, India were bowled out for 201 runs in their 2nd innings.

On the final day Australia needed only 4 wickets to win the final test match and they did it with ease.

Peter Siddle was adjudged the man of the match for his superb bowling throughout the match. Australian captain Michael Clarke was adjudged the man of the series.
