Chandigarh: Simran of Vivek High Asian Cricket Academy helped his team outclass St. Stephen’s School, Sector 45, by 5 wickets in the finals of 4th Vivek Trophy Cricket Tournament.

Batting first St Stephens School could only amass 157 runs for the loss of four wickets. For the batting side, Gaurav Singh 61, Talwinderjit Singh 36 and Karan Aggarwal 23 were among the highest scorer.

In reply, the winning team reached the target with ease, as the team reached to the total of 160 runs for the loss of five wickets in 19.4 overs. Simran 71, Shivam Bhamri 36 and Karan Khosla 26 were the main scorers. For St Stephen’s, Gaurav Singh and Sukhraj Singh took two wickets each giving away 21 and 23 runs, respectively.
