Chandigarh: JS Pande’s unbeaten century helped Maharastra to reach a respectable total against Punjab in the four day quarter-final match of Cooch Behar Trophy for boys (U-19). Maharashtra lost their wickets in quick succession, including the opener CG Khurana and VH Zol. JS Pande and AA Salvi succeeded in maintaining a good partnership and took their team to competitive total before Salvi gave away his wickets to Kamal Passi.
JS Pande made a fine contribution of 116 followed by SS Ranjne who scored 33 off 81 including three boundaries and one six.
