Chandigarh: Both the teams Mohali Cricket Academy (MCA) had a good day out at the 1st Saupin's Tri-city League Cricket Tournament as they picked up victory against their respective opponents here.
In the first match of the day, the Mohali Cricket Academy (B) beat DP Azad Academy (B) by seven wickets.
Batting first, the Mohali Cricket Academy posted a target of 108 with Sahil 28 and Manpreet contributing 41. For the bowling side, Nipun and Dhruv scalped two wickets each.
In reply, DP Azad Academy could not reach the target as they could manage only 100 runs in their stipulated 20 overs after a loss of 4 wickets.
In the second match, the Mohali Cricket Academy (A) beat DP Azad Academy (B) by nine wickets.
After electing to bat first Azad Academy scored a total of 153 with Kansal (65) and Harinder Singh (24) top scoring for their side.
In reply Mohali reached the target with nine wickets to spare with Kunal scoring a quick fire 81 and aptly supported by Harry who scored 66.
