Kulachi Hansraj beat Venkateswara Public School

New Delhi: Divyank Verma, who missed the half-century by only five runs, helped Kulachi Hansraj Model School beat Venkateshwara Public School by 10 wickets in a low scoring league match played in Delhi on Tuesday.


Batting first, Venkateshwara Public School were bowled out at just 95 runs in 31.1 overs. Gaurav Sahni showed some resistance and scored 30 runs. Kulachi Hansraj bowler Tushar Sharma took three wickets for only nine runs along with Namit Gupta, Vishvash Malik and Prateek Sharma, who claimed two wickets each, to restrict Venkateshwara Public School.

Kulachi Hansraj Model School easily chased down the meagre target in 17.2 overs. Divyank Verma smashed an unbeaten 45 runs and steered his team to victory. Himanshu Batra supported him with his 25-run knock.
