Mumbai: Saran Sports, one of India’s leading corporate sports event management company, has created history in the Indian sporting landscape by breaking into the prestigious Limca Book of Records – World Record 2011 with its longest running and largest corporate cricket event, the Saran Corporate Cricket 7s. The glorious celebration attained new heights as the iconic and swashbuckling Indian opener Virendra Sehwag presented Saran Sports with the Limca Book of records certificate.w`
The Saran Corporate Cricket 7s has witnessed participation from over 302 companies over the past 15 years in these championships. The various categories which have been introduced like the Super Cup, Elite Cup, Seniors Cup, Super Cup, Champions Cup, Salver and Bowl ensure that every corporate gets a level ground to participate competitively. 2010 for instance saw a whopping 106 corporate participants which include many companies from India Inc. across sectors such as Information Technology, banking and finance among others.
With each passing year the tournament has grown in stature and its popularity and demand has managed to fill the void for competitive sporting activity among the corporate sector. Saran Corporate Cricket 7s provides both a unique platform to indulge in sporting activity, besides breaking work place barriers to enhance efficiency, develop leadership skills and reinforce and strengthen team building.
