November: Mount Abu Public School notched up a one wicket victory over the Ganga International School in a league stage match up of the Coca Cola U-17 Inter School Cricket Tournament played here on Friday.

Batting first the Ganga International’s batting line up looked lackluster and they were bowled out for a paltry 95 in 31 over. Sumit Mathur of Ganga put some resistance and was the only notable scorer for his team with a score of 27. For Mount Abu, the wreckers in chief were Shantanu Chaudhary and Rahul Tewetia, who scalped four wickets apiece giving away 12 and 22 runs respectively.

It should have been a cakewalk for Mount Abu, but some inspired bowling performance by Sumeet Mathur(5/13) and Jatin Dalal(3/20) choked the Mount Abu line up. It was Ankush Bains  innings of 36 runs which helped the Abu to recover from the damage and helped his team scrape to a wicket win.
