Chandigarh: Local player and ace batsmen Manan Vohra after bringing laurels in the Junior (U-19) Indian team is selected to represent Punjab in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Tournament against Saurashtra and the Railways.

Manan will replace wicket-keeper-cum-batsman Gitansh Khera who was ruled out of the team due to a fracture on his index figure against Orissa.

The Punjab team has already accumulated six points from two matches. The host will face Saurashtra in their third league match at the PCA Stadium, Mohali, from November 1.
