Bal Bharti Public School beat Salwan Boys School

New Delhi: Ishrat Mahajan helped Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura beat Salwan Boys School, Rajinder Nagar by seven wickets in a low-scoring qualifier match of Coca Cola Inter-School Cricket Tournament at Bharat Nagar in Delhi on Tuesday.

 

 

Ishrat took four wickets and his fellow bowlers bowled-out Salwan Boys School at 93 runs in just 26 overs.

 

In reply, Bal Bharti Public School achieved the target in 21.1 overs and scored 97 runs to win the qualifier match by losing three wickets.

 

Meanwhile, all-rounder Adish Jain’s six-wicket haul and 31-run innings helped Air Force Bal Bharti Public School, Lodhi Roda beat Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar by 1 run in a mouth-watering qualifier match played at Parmarth, Pitampura today.

 

In the first innings, Air Force Bal Bharti Public School were bundled-out at 123 runs in 32.2 overs with crucial 31 runs from Adish Jain.

 

But they fought back and clinched the victory from the opposition camp. Adish Jain took six wickets and his fellow teammates bowled-out the whole team in 34 overs and defeated them by one run.
