New Delhi: Abhishek Goyal’s all rounder performance helped Titiksha Public School, Rohini defeated Bal Bharti Public School, Rohini by a huge margin of 126 runs in a qualifier league match held at Titiksha Public School in Delhi today.

In the first innings, Rajat Sood hit a brilliant half-century to take the score of his team at a big total of 208 runs. He was well-supported by all-rounder Abhishek Goyal (43). However, Jatin Dua’s 4/23 helped Bal Bharti to bowled-out Titiksha Public School in 38.2 overs.

In the second innings, Titiksha Public School bowlers Krishnanandan Yadav (4/5) and Abhishek Goyal (4/26) bundled-out Bal Bharti Public School at a meagre total of 82 in just 25.5 overs. Against their fierce bowling, no batsman could not stand for a long time and built a partnership.

In another match, Devinder Bhatia helped Matajai Public School, Ashok Vihar beat Montford Public School, Ashok Vihar by 26 runs at a low-scoring qualifier match at Bharat Nagar.

Matajai Public School scored 126 runs with the help of Abhijeet Singh (42) and Kabir Singh (32) in the first innings. However, Montford bowlers Divij Prakash (3/5) and Shivam Bhatia (3/20) led the bowling attack to bowled-out Matajai Public School in just 28.4 overs.

Montford Public School failed to capitalise the opportunity to win the match and they bundled-out in just 100 runs in 24.3 overs. Devinder Bhatia caused the maximum destruction in the opposition camp by taking four wickets.
