Greater Noida: A splendid batting by Akhil (80 off 44 balls) helped Sunrisers Cricket Club beat Konnect Education in the final of Scoring Willows Corporate Cricket Tournament by seven wickets at the Centurion Cricket Ground, Greater Noida on Sunday.

Akhil was awarded Player of the Match for his match winning knock.

Earlier, batting first, Konnect Education were all out for 127 in 19.1 overs. Chasing the target, Sunrisers Cricket Club comfortably won the match in 17.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets.

As many as 16 teams participated in the Season 2 of the tournament, which was organised by Rashmi Kadan and Sanjeev Gupta.
