The 42th match of IPL will be a battle between Delhi Daredevils and Gujarat Lions . The match will be held at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi from 8:00 P.M. onward.
The main advantage to Delhi is at they have play on their home ground. In the previous game, playing on their home ground they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets . By beating Hyderabad in the previous game they kept their dreams alive to reach the play offs this season. It will be not an easy game for both Delhi and Gujarat . Both the teams are struggling to reach the play offs even after having tremendous players.
Talking about Delhi they are 6th on the IPL points table by winning just three games of nine, while Gujarat Lions stand 7th on the IPL points table by winning three games of 10 .

Because of the injury, Zaheer Khan haven't played two matches for Delhi and still their is a question mark whether Zaheer will play or not .
The new captain for Delhi Daredevils is Karun Nair. In his Captaincy, the team have won eone match and lost one. In one match the team couldn't even touch the 70-mark while in one game the team managed to go past 189 .
Meanwhile, though the batsmen of Gujarat Lions are in good form -- Brendon McCullum ( 318 runs ) , Sursh Raina ( 318 runs ) , Dinesh Karthik ( 221 runs ) , Aaron Finch ( 199 ) and Ishan Kishan ( 149 runs ) -- but still they are on number seven on the points table .
