Jadhav, Watson, Maxwell, Patel: Players to watch out for in match between KXIP and RCB

shane watson RCB IPLAfter winning their matches on Friday, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face each other at Holkar Stadium, Indore on Monday. With one win each under their belt, both the teams will look to carry on their winning streak from here.

Before the start of that match, we bring before you the Players to watch out from Royal Challengers Bangalore –

Kedar Jhadav - The prolific Maharashtra batsman played an impressive knock against the Delhi Daredevils. He was under pressure when he came in to bat. After the early departure of Chris Gayle, Mandeep Singh and Skipper Shane Watson, it was Kedar Jhadav’s gusty 69 runs which took RCB to a decent score of 157. RCB will want the same gusty knock from him against KXIP as well. In absence of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, Kedar Jhadav is the batsman to watch out for.

Shane Watson - The skipper could score only 24 runs but those runs were proved valuable towards the end. When he was bowling he managed to pick up only 1 wicket but he was economical in his four overs. If he could continue his all round performance in next match also then no one could stop RCB from winning the match against the KXIP. He is one of the best all-rounders that anyone could get in the T20 format. Watson should also play well to cement his place in the RCB team as they will have choice in plenty after AB De Villers and Virat Kohli come back into the team.

Yuzvendra Chahal – He continues to impress again and again. He is only spinner that RCB is dependent on at the moment. Chahal has been Mr. Fabulous since his six-wicket haul against England. Now in absence of regular captain Virat Kohli, Chahal has earned the faith of stand-in skipper Shane Watson as well. Chahal has been the bowler to bowl in the middle and death overs for RCB.

Tymal Mills – Impressive as ever for his team, since his debut series against India for the T20 series, Mills has been the bowler to watch out for his variations in speeds and line and length. After Chahal, Watson has trusted Mills more than anybody else.

The players in Kings XI Punjab squad to watch out for

Glenn Maxwell – The skipper played a huge role in that win against the RPS. His 44 not out was the turning point in the game. He made sure that he stayed there till the end to see his team through. If KXIP want to win their maiden IPL title then Maxwell will have to play a role of MS Dhoni for his team. With captaincy thrust upon him, he will have to play the finisher’s role just like MS Dhoni did it for India and Chennai Super Kings.

Axar Patel – He was very impressive with his line and length against RPS. But he should continue with this performance to lift his team up. Axar has a great all round talent. With the bat he can play some lusty blows towards the end of the innings.

Wridhiman Saha – The wicket keeper batsman was aggressive but couldn’t finish the game for his side as Maxwell did it for the team. Saha should play aggressively but he shouldn’t give his wicket away as he did in the match against the RPS. He can be perfect partner for Maxwell in crunch situations.

Hashim Amla – The Legendary South African opener, who is prolific test and ODI batsman, gave KXIP a decent start to chase a modest total. In future the team will rely on Amla to give great start if they want to set a good target or if the team is chasing a big score. KXIP will want Amla to get those runs in quick time
