After been hammered in the recently concluded test series, England will look to start the ODI series on a positive note. Eoin Morgan has returned to the helm for the visiting side which will have Jason Roy and Alex Hales opening the batting. The middle order is likely to comprise Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Morgan, wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali and an additional batsman in Sam Billings. - Joe Root – The best batsman of this generation. He is compared to Virat Kohli, as there both are modern greats of cricket. He is too good in all forms of the game, just like Virat Kohli. In the test series, he had few starts. However, accept for one hundred, he couldn’t get more. England will want their premiere batsman to fire in this ODI series. - Moen Ali – The lone spinning all rounder for the hosts, England, he was the best in test series. He was also the leading run scorer and leading wicket taker for England.
