The Indian cricket lovers were shocked and left speechless when the one and only Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced to step down as captain of the ODI and T20 team on late Wednesday. Dhoni, who has contributed so much towards the success of the team as captain, has been rightly named as ’’Captain Cool’’. Well, many congratulated and respected him for his successful career and leading the team to the pinnacle of success.
Many people, including legends Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar applauded, congratulated the captain and paid tributes for his boundless contribution towards the team’s success. Gavaskar even told a TV channel that ‘’If Dhoni quit as a player, than he would be the first person to give a dharna outside MSD’s house asking for his comeback.” Even the Bollywood stars have also took it to twitter and applauded his captaincy.
