Mumbai: Parthiv Patel once again played a captain’s knock (70) as Gujarat beat Hyderabad by three wickets with three balls to spare in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament on Monday. Earlier, RP Singh had claimed three wickets for just 15 runs to restrict Hyderabad to 131/7.
In another match Cheteshwar Pujara (81 off just 55 balls) scored his second successive half-century and guided Saurashtra to victory over Jamuu & Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Munbai beat Services by eight wickets and Uttar Pradesh got the better of Karnataka by five wickets.
