Mumbai: By the time Irani Trophy match ended, southpaw batsmen Suresh Raina was left disappointed not because he missed the century in the second-innings, but because he was once again overlooked for the Indian squad selected for first Two Tests against Australia.
 
Raina, who is in form of his life, was very much hopeful that he would get a chance for Tests against the Aussies. Apart from scoring well in the Irani Trophy, he had played some match winning knocks in the recent ODI series against England.
 
He tweeted, "Disappointed about being overlooked for the first 2 Tests. Don't know what was lacking but won't let it dishearten me. Still going strong," on Sunday
 
Not alone Raina but many cricketing fans are disappointed after hearing this decision of national selectors. India might well feel his need as he was the one who came out as a match finisher in every other match and was able to hold on the innings with the lower order batsmen.
