Hyderabad: The Indian Premier League (IPL) team Sun Risers owned by the Sun Network has roped in Kris Srikkanth and VVS Laxman as mentors.

VVS Laxman played for Deccan Chargers in the first three edition of IPL.

Earlier, the Hyderabad franchises name was changed from Deccan Chargers to Sun Risers.

Sun TV Network earlier this year won the Hyderabad franchise of the IPL for an amount of Rs 85.05 crores.

The franchisee on micro-blogging site Twitter posted. “Our team will be called as 'Sun Risers' from #IPL 2013. Spread the word :)"
