After recall, Harbhajan Singh hits out at his critcs

I am proud of my team, we played well: Harbhajan Mohali: Harbhajan Singh termed his return to the Indian Test squad for the upcoming England series as a big news, the veteran off-spinner also said that a good bowler should not be judged just by his wickets count.

After leading Punjab to an innings win over Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy opener, the off-spinner, who has been out of the team for about a year now, said, "A good bowler should not be only judged only by the number of wickets he takes. The way he bowls in the match should also be taken into consideration. A spinner's role changes according to the wicket. People who haven't played cricket themselves have been writing crap about me,” said the off-spinner, adding that he has seen legendary spinners like Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan going wicketless on occasions.

“I am not a magician, I too can have rough times," he added.

Ecstatic about joining the 100 Test match club, Harbhajan said that he was quite excited about his selection in the Test team. "It is a big news for me. Although I played in the Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka, securing a Test berth was always on my mind. It would be nice to complete 100 Test matches," said Harbhajan.

Talking about his struggle in the past one year, Harbhajan said that he has become a good listener and can handle things on the field in a better way. “I have learnt to make the moves rather than work for things to happen on their own. I have evolved as a cricketer in the last one year."
