Trinidad: India A defeated West Indies A in a thriller as the second unofficial Twenty20 international went down to the one-over eliminator where Ashok Dinda bowled a superb over to seal the victory for the Indians. Dinda conceded only four runs in the eliminator over and Indian batsmen achieved the target easily to level the series.

Earlier in the day, West Indies A won the toss and decided to field first, Indian openers responded well to the challenge as they put up a partnership of 61 runs at the half-way stage mark. Ajinkya Rahane who was struggling on the tour came good at last, as he scored 79 runs of 63 balls, his innings included four boundaries and two lovely six.

West Indies A chasing a stiff target of 155 runs got off to a brilliant start, their openers Nkrumah Bobber (82) and Kieran Powell (34) took the attack on the Indian bowlers and scored at a brisk pace. Bonner continued on his merry way as he handled all the bowlers quite well and took his side close to the Indian total.

The hosts needed two runs of five deliveries, but Dinda bowled a magnificent last five deliveries and conceded only one run to take the match in to the one-over eliminator. He repeated his feet in the deciding over and was declared man of the match.
