Australian Eves thrash India by 10 wickets

Australian Eves thrash India by 10 wicketsVisakhapatnam: The agony continued for the India eves as they lost the fourth T-20 international against Australia by 10 wickets at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. Australia has already won the series and with this win they are leading the five match series 4-0.

Unlike the last match, India won the toss this time and elected to bat first. They would have hoped for a solid foundation but that was not to be as India lost three wickets with only 5 runs on the board. Harmanpreet Kaur and Anjum Chopra put together a partnership of 42 runs to settle some nerves in the home team’s camp.

India continued to lose wickets after the fall of Chopra’s wicket and in the end was not able to play their allotted quota of 20 overs. It was Julie Hunter’s superb effort that restricted India to a paltry total of 85.
Australia than came out to bat and showed that scoring runs is not as difficult as Indians made it look likes. Both their openers tamed the Indian bowling and scored runs easily. They finished the match in only the 13th over.

Brief Score:

India: 85/10 in 19 overs (Kaur 32, Hunter 4-15)

Australia: 86/0 in 12.2 overs (Healy 54*, Lanning 30*)
