 Indian cricketers make quiet return after Australian debacleNew Delhi: Two months and the Indian cricketers have returned home on Sunday returned home on Sunday after their disastrous two months in Australia where they were whitewashed in the Test series and followed it with a horrendous ODI series where they could not even make it to the finals.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Praveen Kumar and Rahul Sharma landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airpor in Delhi whereas Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan and Umesh Yadav landed at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

The players reached much later that their scheduled time and chose to walk out quietly avoiding the attention of the ones gathered there. India who lost the spot in the finals after Sri Lanka won their last match; it did not much time for Team India to leave Australia and soon were onboard to reach home.
As soon as Sri Lanka dumped India out of the tournament after their win over Australia in Melbourne on Friday night, the reservation plans were put afoot and the Indian players lost little time in leaving for home.
