New Delhi: Organizing Committee meeting of Delhi Corporate Games 2012 scheduled to be held at Delhi in November 2012 was held today under the chairmanship of K.P Singh Deo , former Union Minister  and Games patron of Corporate Games India.

A.K Pandya IAS (Retd.) Former Secretary  Government of India, Dinesh Khanna,Arjuna Awardee and gold medalist  Asian Badminton,  Gurcharan Singh ,Dronacharya Awardee ,Dr. J.S Naruka ,former Director sports Delhi University,Col.B.S Ahluwalia Former Executive Director SAI,Col. Brahm Sharma, O.P Bhatia ,Games Director ,Former Executive Director Sports Authority of India and many others attended this meeting.

The Organizing committee reviewed  conduct of last games held in February 2012.Board directed to make next games bigger and better .It was estimated that about 2000 participants  from 70 corporates /businesses /organisations  would attend next games scheduled from 22nd-25th November,2012.Games will be held at Siri Fort Sports Complex and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium .The Board approved holding games  in 14 disciplines namely :Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Billiards, Chess, Cricket (8a-side), Cycling, Hockey, Golf, Running, Squash, Soccer ,Soccer-6 ,Table Tennis and Tennis

Noida College of Physical Education & Amity University   agreed to provide volunteers for the games.

Organizing Committee approved the estimated budget and suggested to take 4-5 major corporate/industrial houses   as sponsors for the games.

The Organising Committee approved to request Lt. Governor Delhi to be the Chief Guest on Opening Celebration and request the honourable Sports Minister to be chief guest for concluding function.
