International Chess player Yogesh Gautam launches crowd funding Campaign on Desiredwings.com

Yogesh Gautam, an International Chess Player, who has represented India in more than 40 International Tournaments including Commonwealth Chess Championship and won several laurels for the country like 1st prize at the Annual World Open Chess Championship, is undertaking a road trip across the length and breadth of the country.

Commenting about Drive for the Game, Yogesh Gautam said, "The objective of our trip is promoting Chess in the interiors of the country and highlighting the support needed for Chess at the grassroots level. Another important feature is to educate aspiring chess players about the opportunities in the game. Through this crowdfunding campaign we wish to raise money for the expenditure involved in traveling. Yogesh Gautam along with his friend will cover 50,000 kms across the country, creating a Guinness World Record for the maximum distance travelled to promote a Game within a country. He will stop over at pre-selected schools and other identified locations (especially the remote and rural parts), to give free lessons to the kids. He will also be distributing the chessboards and a bilingual chess manual custom crafted for basic lessons, to stimulate the learning experience.
