While 8th seed and FIDE Master Monnisha GK of Tamil Nadu beat Maharashtra’s Supriya Joshi, 10th seed Srija Seshadri from Tamil Nadu beat 20th seed Meenu Priya Se of Tamil Nadu.

65th seed Atul Kumar of UP played a draw with his opponent 32ndseed Darpan Inani. 78th seed UP’s Sanchay Dubay beat 89th seed Abhimanyu Mishra in the open category. While UP’s 59th seed Ayushi Jaiswal Beat 65th seed Parul Mukesh Kumar of Himachal Pradesh and successfully entered in sixth round.
