3rd seed IM Prasanna Raghuram Rao of Maharashtra beat 26th seed Madhya Pradesh’s Gajwa Ankit in the eighth round. West Bengal’s 4th seed FM Das Sayantan beat 13th seed Visakh Nr of Tamil Nadu. 5th seed FM Aravindh Chithambaram Vr. of Tamil Nadu defeated his state mate 24th seed Harihara Sudan M.
3rd seed WFM Saranya J of Tamil Nadu beat 18th seed Shristi J. Shetty from Karnataka in the other match of the day.
UP’s 70th seed Ayush Panday beat Andhra Pradesh’s 55th seed Raghav Srivathsav V. UP’s 59th Ayushi Jaiswal beat 54th seed Anamika Rani Vaishnav of Chhattisgarh. UP’s 68th seed Shivani beat 65th seed Parul Mukesh Kumar of Himachal Pradesh and easily entered in the ninth round of the Championship.
