Chandigarh’s Aadil Bedi making his presence felt in professional circuit at CG Open

Aadil bediChandiharh: 15-year-old Aadil Bedi, a Class X student of Vivek High School, Chandigarh shot six-under on opening two days to lie tied 12th position in the ongoing CG Open PGTI event at BPGC Mumbai on Thursday. 

Aadil playing his second Professional match, has played some good gold and made boggy free round on Day 2 with three birdies on his return at hole no 1, 4 and 8. Aadil is youngest to make cut in two top professional matches in this season. He made cut at Take Open Golf Tournament at KGA Banglore last month as well.

C Muniyappa is leading the tournament with 11-under.

Aadil won the trophy as a best Amateur in Pro-Am match played on a day before this match.

Aadil said that, “It's a great experience playing with top professionals of the country. I will stick to my basics and hit 12/12 fairways today and hit 17/18 greens on both the opening day with seven birdies in total. It will be big morale boosting for me before I play All India Junior Final next month.”
