Aadil Bedi youngest to make cut in PGTI event with 2-under par score

aadil bedi 520Benguluru: 15-year-old Aadil bedi carded two-under-par and became the youngest to make cut in the Take Solution Open Professional Golf Championship here at KGA Golf Course on Thursday.

He was competing along with 126 top professionals of the country, including Sujjan Singh, Ajitesh Sandhu, Chikkarangappa, among others.

After two days, Aadil was lying at two-over par. Top 50 players will be competing for RS 1 crore prize money over the last two days. Aadil is competing as an amateur.

KGA Golf Course is lush green golf course maintained by Karnataka golf Association with green speed over 11 today. Aadil made five birdies for his valiant two-under par round. Sujjan Singh is tied at top with eight-under with Chikkarangappa.

Aadil said that it would be nerve-testing match for him. “I was tied at 100th position after Day 1. I kept my nerve calm under pressure with five birdies and made the cut in the prestigious PGTI event,” he said.

“Work done with my coach Jesse Grewal and Bob Byman at the CGA Range is helping me a lot,” he said.
Aadil will be moving to Thailand to represent Team India next week. He is being sent by Government of India and IGU Jointly with lodging boarding paid by the IGU.
