Eventful race for Sahara Force India in Indian Grand PrixGreater Noida: Nico Hulkenburg of Sahara Force India finished eight to earn four points at the Buddh International Circuit here on Sunday. The result can be termed as satisfying for the Indian team as none of their cars could make it to the Q3 on the qualifying day and Hulkenburg moved up four grid places to end with points.

It was however a little disappointing for them as they could not finish both their cars in point with Paul Di Resta bringing the car home in 12th place. Even Di Resta who did not have a very good qualifying and started from 16th on the grid kept up the fight till the end but could not get into the to 10.

"I am very happy with the results and I think eight was the maximum that was possible. It was great team performance and I am satisfied with what I have achieved today. At the start I did not get the best getaway, but I had a good first lap and was able to overtake Rosberg on the back straight and Maldonado going into turn four. In the middle part I was quite lonely as I running in clean air but during the end Grosjean pushed but I held on," said Hulkenburg after the race.

"I did not crack under presure and and I kept behind him and we make the one stop strategy work. You could really feel the support for the team from the grand-stands and it was great that we could score points for them," added the German.

Meanwhile Di Resta also sounded a satisfied man and said that whatever he delivered was the best that his car could have done.

"It was quite a tough afternoon but I think that what we achieved was all we could do. I drove as I hard as I could and was pushing all the way.We were in the hunt battling with Rosberg and Senna but then could not get close enough to challenge. I did find it hard to find the ideal balance of the car all weekend and the carried over into the race. I am pretty sure that the team can get on top of them and be more competitive when we get to Abu Dhabi," said the 24 year old scot.

This is now the sixth race in the row that Force India have managed to score points and the four points in Indian GP now sees their gap with Sauber reduced reduced to 23 points on the constructer's standing.
