Chandigarh: The Chandigarh State Sub-Junior and Challenger Sprints Rowing Championship for Boys/Men and Girls/Women will be held at the Lake Club on Sunday, the 22nd May, 2016 at 0700 hours (07:00 A.M.). The following events will be conducted in the Championship: -
1. Single Sculls (1 x) (Open for Boys/Men and Girls/Women)
2. Double Sculls (2 x) (Open for Boys/Men and Girls/Women)
3. Coxless Pairs (2 -) (Open for Boys/Men and Girls/Women)
4. Coxless Fours (4 -) (Open for Boys/Men and Girls)
The entries close with Parmod Kumar Singla, Hony. Secretary, Chandigarh Rowing Association or Arvind Sehgal, Rowing Coach on the Saturday, the 21st May, 2016 at 1800 hours (6:00 P.M.).
The selection of the team for the forthcoming 19th Sub-Junior and 1st Inter-State Challenger Sprint National Rowing Championships are being held at Chennai (Tamilnadu) from 7-12 June, 2016 will be made on the basis of the previous performance of the rowers, during camp and the above Chandigarh State Rowing Championship.
All Oars boys/Oars Girls born on or after 1-1- 2001 are eligible for the Sub-Juniors in the Championship.
