It might have turned out to be a good day for Kolkata Knight Riders as they beat Mumbai Indians at Wankhade Stadium but its owner Shah Rukh Khan may find himself in trouble as the Mumbai Cricket association officials threatened to ban the superstar after his altercation with the MCA officials here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
According to a Hindustan Times <\/strong>report, the trouble began when a bunch of 25 children wearing KKR jerseys descended onto the field of play after the match and indulged in a game of catch. \u201cThe MCA officials were not pleased with the encroachment and escorted the children off the field. The actor got into a heated argument with the MCA officials and used foul language against the officials. MCA vice-president Ravi Sawant said immediate action would be taken against the actor, including a move to ban the actor from the premises altogether,\u201d says the report.<\/p>\n “The way he abused obscenities against our officials we will push for a life ban barring him from entering the Wankhede from hence forth,” said Sawant.<\/p>\n According tot a report in the Indian Express <\/strong>with Shah Rukh losing his cool and reportedly abusing the officials, several members of the KKR support staff rushed to the spot to quell the co-owner. Players of the two team also came to know about the post-match fight and were seen peering at the chaos from the dressing room.<\/p>\n \u201cKKR all-rounder Yusuf Pathan tried to mediate but he was asked to return to the dressing room. The Indian Premier League CEO Sundar Raman was also seen pacifying Shah Rukh,\u201d says the report, adding that MCA officials allege that Shah Rukh even pushed a police man who tried to intervene.<\/p>\n Eventually, the entry of a senior Mumbai Police official, who is also part of the MCA, ended the almost hour long shouting session.<\/p>\n Meanwhile the Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to restrain Sachin Tendulkar from taking oath as Rajya Sabha member and sought the central government\u2019s response on a petition challenging the cricketer’s nomination to the upper house. <\/p>\n According to a Times Of India <\/strong>report, a division bench of Acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw was hearing a petition by Ram Gopal Singh Sisodia, who contendedthatTendulkar’s nomination to the Rajya Sabha was contrary to the provisions of the constitution.
