Sehwag scored 87 off a mere 48 balls as Delhi extracted a sweet revenge of their defeat at the hands of the same opposition three days back.<\/p>\n
According to a report in The Tribune, Delhi’s domination was evident by the fact that they won the match with as many as four overs to spare. \u201cAnd leading the charge was Sehwag whose innings was studded with 10 fours and three sixes. Sehwag added 89 runs for the second wicket with Kevin Pietersen (27 off 21) in just 8.2 overs, and that paved the way for the convincing victory.<\/p>\n
The Hindu writes that Virender Sehwag lost little time in getting back at Pune Warriors for the embarrassing loss at home in the DLF-IPL-V. The Delhi Daredevils captain helped his side chase down a target of 147 without breaking into a sweat.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Delhi Daredevils skipper Virender Sehwag credited his bowlers for the team’s eight-wicket win over Pune Warriors, says a report in Indiaan Express. <\/p>\n
“Good to be (on) top of the table, all because of my bowlers as they did a fantastic job,” Sehwag said after scoring an unbeaten 48-ball 87 in his team’s convincing win. <\/p>\n
“They (Pune) recovered well after losing a couple of wickets early on but they couldn’t get past 150, which is chaseable,” he added. <\/p>\n
Pune Warriors skipper Sourav Ganguly said that 170-180 would have been a par score to defend at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium.\u00a0 “We lost a couple of wickets early, we didn’t get enough runs, so 170-180 would be a par score.
