While Sreeja Akula gained a bye, Archana Kamath, Shruti Amrute and Maria Rony advanced winning their first round matches.<\/p>\n<p>In the cadet girls section, Selena Selvakumar, Archana Kamath , Varuni Jaiswal and Srushti Haengadi moved into pre-quarterfinals. Selena and Archna got byes while Varuni and Srusthi scored straight set victories over their opponents in the first round.
