Lee, Hong gave the local galleries another reason to cheer as he compiled a two-day total of 136 to stay three shots back of the trio at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old, who claimed his career\u2019s maiden victory on the local tour last year, credited his experience of playing on the Asian Development Tour (ADT), which is the Tour\u2019s secondary circuit for improving his game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t start well today. It was really windy out there but I managed to make two birdies on the back nine. A few hits and misses today but overall, it was not too bad. I think my experience of playing on the Asian Development Tour this year has helped me a lot in my game,\u201d said Hong.<\/p>\n<p>Hong has been playing regularly on the ADT where he now made five out of six cuts.<\/p>\n<p>He is hoping to take his game to another level by playing well on the region\u2019s premier Tour, which is celebrating its milestone 10th season in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has always been my target play on the Asian Tour. I\u2019ve tried the Qualifying School for two years already. This is only my third event on the main Tour so far and I\u2019m glad that to be playing well! I will be trying for the Qualifying School again next year.
