Coimbatore, 13 September 2026: Kabir Sahoch and Senthil Kumar won all three races in their respective categories at the opening round of the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2026, presented by JK Tyre.
Sahoch completed a clean sweep in the Amateur category, while newcomer Senthil led the Professionals at Kari Motor Speedway. The championship is in its sixth year.
The two categories raced on separate grids and different motorcycles this season. Twenty Amateurs competed on the GT-R650, with 15 Professionals riding the GT-R750. Each category had three races over the weekend.
Sahoch wins all three Amateur races
Sahoch led Saurav Dey and Brandon Dsouza home in Race 1. Dey finished second again in Race 2, with Vaibhav Rao taking third.
The final Amateur race brought a different podium behind Sahoch. Harish Yodhin finished second and Prashaant C third.
Senthil leads the Professionals
Senthil won the opening Professional race ahead of Allwin Xavier and Anish D Shetty.
He repeated the result in Race 2, while Shetty and Xavier swapped positions to finish second and third respectively. The same order followed in Race 3, with Senthil ahead of Anish Shetty and Xavier.
Round 2 of the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup, presented by JK Tyre, is scheduled for October at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.
