New Delhi: Swiss Military who finished as a runner up in 2010 World Finals, and Prime Tree Capital both returned with 70 points and 68 points respectively to win Delhi-NCR regional finals of the 10th edition of TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge at Jaypee Greens Golf Club today. With a scintillating performance on day two, Swiss Military and Prime Tree Capital have qualified for the National finals to be held at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in May 2015, and will be joined by yesterday’s winners CPC Group and Rampur Fertilizers.

A 13-Handicapper Aman Swahney scored 31 points while his colleague Manav Sardana (Handicap 17) scored 39 points for confirming a spot for Swiss Military as a winner in today’s round. Prime Tree Capital team finished the day as runners-up, which was represented by players Ashish Kaul (Handicap 10) who scored 34 points and Suneer Jain (Handicap 17) who also carded 34 points.

In yesterday’s round, An avid golfer with a handicap of 16, SP Singh scored 36 points and was supported by team-mate Rajan Khanna (Handicap 18) who pitched in with 30 nett points to take CPC Group to the top with the total of 66 points. Vijay Kumar (Handicap 4) scored 32 points while teammate Gangesh Khaitan (Handicap 2) ended the day with 32 points to give Rampur Fertilizers a combined score of 64 points to finish as runners-up.

All four teams Swiss Military, Prime Tree Capital, CPC Group and Rampur Fertilizers will compete with 8 other teams from Bengaluru and Pune for a chance to represent India at the World Finals to be held at the Oitavos Dunes Golf Course in Cascais, Portugal from 30 June to 5 July 2015.

Now in its 10th edition in India, Take Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge is India’s only official qualifying event for the prestigious World Corporate Golf Challenge. With support from Take Solutions since 2005, the tournament has established itself as a platform for corporate golfers to showcase their skills and compete with the best golfers from India and around the world.

This was the second qualifier of the 10th edition while the first regional qualifier was held at Eagleton Golf Course, Bengaluru in March 2015. The third and final regional qualifier will be held at Oxford Golf & Country Club, Pune on April 18th & 19th 2015.
