Leicester City's unlikely Premier League stars could have streets named after them if they defy the pre-season odds and win the title this season.
After narrowly avoiding relegation in 2014/15, the Foxes started the season as 5000/1 outsiders to win the league, but they have since enjoyed an incredible campaign that sees them sit seven points clear at the top with just six games remaining.
The East Midlands side only secured their return to the Premier League in 2014, when more than 10,000 fans turned out at the city's Town Hall Square to celebrate, but Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby expects an even bigger response should Claudio Ranieri's men claim the title in May.
"Town Hall Square will not be big enough this time," he told Sky Sports . "Leicester has honoured its sporting stars in the past. There is an area named after golfers and there is also a Lineker Road. It has been a real team effort, so as well as Vardy Vale we would need to have Schmeichel Street, Drinkwater Drive and Ranieri Road."
With so many heroes worthy of recognition, the streets of Leicester could have an altogether different look in the not too distant future.
