After making a memorable comeback into the Indian Test team against South Africa last year and some good performances against Australia in the ODIs and T20s, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is all set to get engaged to Rivaba Solanki, daughter of a city-based businessman, at a private function, on Friday.
According to a report in The Times Of India, the ceremony will be held at Hotel Jaddus on Kalavad road around 9 am. “As soon as the news spread about the all-rounder's engagement, people started flocking to Rivaba's residence. Later, her family locked their home and shifted to an undisclosed location. Members of both families have refrained from talking to media,” says the report
“After persistent efforts, Jadeja's father Anirudhsinh Jadeja told TOI, "The engagement was finalised at short notice. Only close relatives have been invited." He said the family was excited about Jadeja's engagement.
A report in Asian Age says that Reeva has completed her engineering degree at Atmiya College and is now preparing for UPSC examination in Delhi. Her mother Prafullaba Solanki is an Indian Railway employee while her father is a businessman.
“The ring ceremony will be held on Friday at Jadeja's restaurant. Naina Jadeja, cricketer's elder sister, confirmed the news,” says the report.
