Brisbane: Roger Federer and Milos Raonic will meet in the Brisbane Open final on Sunday, as it will be the reprise of 2015 decider. Federer, who was suffering from flu, in the first week of 2016 defeated D. Thiem 6-1,6-4, while Raonic beat local guy Tomic 7-6,7-6 in the semifinals.
Last year, Federer had defeated Raonic in three sets and earned 1000th victory of his career.
Earlier in the semifinals, Federer showed his class and did not gave any chance to the young guy. In second set Thiem was looking more aggresive as he broke the serve, but later Federer overcame and won the match.
On the other side Raonic with his big serve did not gave any chance to local's last hope Tomic, as both held their serves but Raonic got the better in the tiebreak.
