Pune: DSK Dream City, one of the dream real estate projects from the DSK Group had the honor of hosting the legendary footballer Zico at the DSK International Campus in Pune on November 7, 2015.
Zico, the Head Coach of FC Goa, the leading Indian professional football club that competes in the Indian Super League was accompanied by Bruno, Vikram Salgaocar, Co-Owner FC Goa, Sukhvinder Singh, CEO, FC Goa, and Mr. Janit Desai, Director – Marketing and Sponsorship, FC Goa.
Shirish Kulkarni, Director, DSK Shivajians accompanied Zico on a tour around the DSK International Campus and showed him the facilities on the sprawling property. DSK Dream City, home of the DSK Shivajians and Liverpool FC International Academy offers a range of facilities, varying from a natural and an artificial football turf, swimming pool, gymnasium, recreation area to screening room. Zico also participated in a meet-and-greet session at the auditorium with the players from the Academy and the Club. He rounded off the afternoon with lunch at the cafeteria and autograph signing sessions.
Zico, talking to the players, said: “I have always given my 100% to my club. Now, you players have the opportunity to give your best for DSK Shivajians. We are extremely proud to be associated with the DSK Group. The steps they are taking towards development of football are truly heartwarming.”

Arthur Antunes Coimbra, better known as Zico, is a Brazilian coach and former footballer. A gifted player in his time with excellent technical ability and vision, Zico is considered one of the most skilled finishers and best passers in world football history. Arguably the best global player of the late 1970s and early ‘80s, he is regarded as one of the best playmakers and free kick specialists of all time, able to bend the ball in all directions. In 1999, Zico came eighth in the FIFA Player of the Century grand jury vote, and in 2004 he was named in the FIFA 100 list of the world's greatest living players.
