New Delhi: Services players, who proved to be vital for well-balanced squads and high levels of competition in Season 3 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi are back to contribute to another season of intense game action between all eight teams of the league. The league in its fourth season will see the presence of top Kabaddi players from the Indian Defence Services for a second time; jointly picked from a pool of 24 players identified by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) and the Services Sports Control Board (SSCB).
Rohit Kumar (Patna Pirates), Nitin Tomar (Bengal Warriors), Surjeet (Puneri Paltan), Surjeet Singh (Dabang Delhi K.C) ranked amongst the top raiders and defenders of Season 3. With their numerous successful tackles and raids, these players were a major reason behind their teams performances and success last season.
The Services Players allocation and selection process is scheduled to be held tomorrow, 13th June, Monday in Jaipur organized by Mashal Sports and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI). The inclusion of services players is a milestone achievement of the Pro Kabaddi League and everyone is looking forward to seeing these heroes become an asset to their teams and the league.
