The Champions League knock outs started with teams like PSG, Real Madrid, etc, registering wins. The phase II of the LEG 1 promises more action and drama this Wednesday as top teams from the top leagues are in action. Let's have a look of the matches -
ARSENAL VS BARCELONA:
TIME: 1.15 a.m (IST)
VENUE: Emirates Stadium
The current champions league holders travel to England to face the Gunners in a high intensity match. Both the teams have similar style of play which is pleasing to the eyes for the fans as they try to play the game in a perfect way. This is going to be tough for the Gunners as Barcelona are on 32-match unbeaten streak in all competitions. Arsenal will have nothing to lose, as they are not the favourites with many expecting Barcelona to steam roll the North Londoners. So the gunners can go into the match without any pressure and can freely express themselves, which in turn is going to help them as on their day they can even beat the top teams in the world which they did while beating Bayern Munich in the Group stages. Even though Barcelona comes into the match as favourites don't be surprised if Arsene Wenger and his young guns pull a rabbit out of their hat
JUVENTUS VS BAYERN MUNICH
TIME: 1.15 A.M (IST)
VENUE: JUVENTUS STADIUM
Juventus had a terrible start to the season as they were at 12th in the league in October, but a late resurgence saw them rise up the ladder steadily as they are now at the top of the table (as of 20-2-2016 23.00 IST), while Bayern has a good season so far expect a few blips like the loss to Arsenal at Emirates. But more recently few issues have popped inside the dressing room after the announcement of the departure of Pep at the end of the season, as few players not happy with him. But they set aside all issues off the field when they take on the rejuvenated Juventus who will go all out for a win against Bayern Munich. So overall it is going to be a tough contest as both the sides are in good form and eventually it may come down to some individual brilliance from either of the teams.
