Liverpool: All the theatrics and trash talks of Hungarian boxer Alexander Horvath about drinking snake blood to prepare for his bout against Vijender Singh came as a cropper, as the Indian star with his desi-ghee diet and 10-hour-a-day training session continued his winning spree in the professional boxing as he easily defeated Horvath at the Liverpool Echo Arena on Saturday’s evening.
The Beijing Olympics bronze medallist dominated the fight and the Hungarian had to retire just one minute into the third round after a powerful punch from Vijender hit his left shoulder. This was Vijender's fourth win in a row in professional boxing in the middleweight (75kg) category.
Vijender will now appear in his next fight to be played in Harrow on April 2.
