Jassowal, Ludhiana: Top seed of the tournament Prajnesh Gunneswaran lifted the crown of the HTA–ITF Men’s Futures US$ 10,000 Tennis Tournament being played at Harvest Tennis Academy courts. On Saturday in the finals Prajnesh defeated Ronit Singh Bisht 6-4, 6-4.
Present on the occasion of the Prize Distribution ceremony were Chief Guest Dr. Manjit Singh Kang, former Vice Chancellor of Punjab Agriculture University, along with Prof Amanjeet Singh Hayer, retired Head of Linguistics of Punjab Agriculture University, Mr. Jasbir Singh Gill, ADGP (Retd.) now Managing Director Harvest Campus, Paras Thakur Tournament Director & Tennis Director, HTA, Gaurav Bhardwaj Manager Tennis, HTA and Mr. Shiva Reddy, Tournament Referee.
Dr. MS Kang was very much impressed by the world class tennis facility of the Academy and the outstanding infrastructure of the School and appreciated it. The players were honoured by Prize Distribution through such a personality. While giving away the prizes, he spoke to all the players and motivated them.
Managing Director of Harvest Campus, explained that the Campus comprises the Tennis Academy and Ludhiana’s first & only Cambridge affiliated school, is 30 minutes drive from Ludhiana, located in the pristine ambiance of village Jassowal-Kular. The Campus offers world class facilities in both academics and tennis training with several expatriates specially brought in to assist this unique and a must visit facility.
Shiva Reddy, Tournament Referee, who is officially into Tennis for the last 18 years. He does Globetrotting and so remains desperate to reach back to his home. But this time he is in no hurry as in his words "I love this place. I don’t want to go back" and further stated that this Academy is the finest Tennis Academy, he has seen which has a highly professional setup and excellent infrastructure. He further stated that it is his privilege to be associated with HTA, which runs the tournament in the most professional and enjoyable manner.
All the participants, their accompanying parents and coaches appreciated the efforts done by the Harvest Tennis Academy for the smooth conduct of the tournament and hospitality rendered to them by the Academy.

Friday's Doubles (Finals): Anvit Bendre (IND) & Chandril Sood (IND)[1] beat Jui-Chen Hung (TPE) & Wei-De Lin (TPE)[3] 6-4, 6-2.
