Indian wushu team for 13th World Wushu Championship announced

New Delhi: Arjuna Awrdee and Asian Games bronze medallist Y Sanathoi Devi, world silver medallist Pooja Kadian and world bronze medallist Rajni Deori will lead the 14-member Indian wushu team, including Paras Cup Gold medallist L Budhachandra Singh in the 13th World Wushu Championship to be be held at Jakarta Indonesia from November 11-18.

More than 900 wushu athletes from 73 countries will participate in this championship. The Wushu Association of India is sending 14 players 3 coaches, 2 managers, 1 physiotherapist & 1 technical official to participate in this mega event.

Movie star and ambassador of Wushu, Jet Li and Hollywood star and former wushu player Michele Yeoh will be present at the event.
