New Delhi: The Hockey India Selectors have narrowed down the list of the Women probables from 48 to 32 for the Olympic Qualifier Tournament to be held at New Delhi from 18-25 February 2012.

The Hockey India Selectors, Olympians Col. Balbir Singh, B.P Govinda, Syed Ali and Rekha Bhide along with the government observers Harbinder Singh and Dilip Tirkey watched the recently concluded four match Test series against Azerbaijan.

India blanked Azerbaijan in this Test series by winning all the matches. This reduced group of players will continue in the coaching camp for the preparations of the Olympic Qualifier.

The other teams in this tournament are South Africa, Italy, Canada, Ukraine and Poland.

The final list of 18 players and standbys will be announced early next month. The 32 shortlisted players are as under-
