Mirpur: After Shikhar Dhawan (60 off 44 balls) and Virat Kohli (41 off 28 balls) had taken India very close to victory before Dhwan was caught by Soumya Sarkar off Taskin Ahmed, with India still needing 22 runs to win in 14 balls, Mahendra Singh Dhoni joined Kohli and game changed completely in India’s favour.

Batting first the Bangla Tiger were reduced to 75 for 5 in the 12th over and it seemed that Bangladesh would fail to put up a competitive total against in-form India.
